Rev. Dr. Branden Sweeper
is the son of Cynthia Sweeper – Jones. He obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education from The University of South Carolina; a Masters of Divinity from Heritage Seminary Institute and a Doctorate in Ministry from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennesse.
He has had the privilege to travel internationally since 2010 for missions and outreach as the outreach liaison for the Southern Baptist Convention. He has led in music ministry for over 20 years. He has had the privilege to serve in leadership withing the Educational & Missionary Baptist Convention of South Carolina & the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. He also has had the privilege of being an instructor in the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education and instructor assistant in the the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education. He currently leads his own non profit organization which caters to disaster relief with in the USA.
His ministry has several milestones attached to it.
- In 2008 he was licensed by the Heritage Bible Seminary Institute.
- Ordained by the North Georgia District Association – August 26, 2015
- Charged with serving as assistant campus pastor & missions pastor – September 6, 2015
- Charged with serving as Red Cross leader for north Georgia Baptist district – January 3, 2016
- Missionary for North America Baptist Mission Organization – June 2016
He currently serves as an Associate Minister at the Emmanuel Baptist Church of James Island.
